Anyone had one ?

Is it a swab test ?

And do they go by certain levels of drugs in your system if they nick you or not?

I like the Australian system of the booze bus. Just set it up on a road somewhere, stop everybody and breathalyse them.

Westside

over 50% of the drug ones have been positive

it's drink driving that's 95% negative

I like the sobriety tests the Yanks do, touch the tip of your nose, recite the alphabet backwards and the heel to toe walk in a straight line

I think we should drive around as fast or as pissed as we like

But can only get nicked by a real living breathing copper.

I have a couple of mates that stick to the speed limit but are 5 pints to the wind

When was the last time you was pulled up for a "routine" stop?

"Do they have to have a reason for pulling you over ?, swerving etc"

In theory yes (as for drink driving). You must be driving in a manner which gives rise to a suspicion that you are unfit to drive through drink/drugs, have committed a moving traffic offence, been involved in any accident, or be driving a vehicle with any defect (even a broken bulb).

In law, random breath testing for drink or drugs is not allowed. However, if you you look at the stats post the Christmas crack down, over 95% of tests are negative, indicating the police sampling techniques are somewhat flawed, or they carry out illegal random testing.

Personally, I think random breath testing for drink and drug driving should be introduced.

yes certain levels, but I read they are tiny so if you've done anything i day or two before you may well come up
